Great episode! I was ready for a nice easy listen but I got more and more agitated as it went on. The lack of wisdom amongst the highly educated is astounding but cult-like thinking does not reside in the intellect, right? The cult burrows into part of the right brain and the left brain intricately builds a structure to justify it. And builds, and builds, and builds until reality reasserts itself and the world lies in ashes. So at least we have to look forward to.
I’m glad to hear services like this exist! Self-censorship can take such a big toll on your mental health - at least it has on mine. I first noticed it in myself in the late aughts when I started censoring my own views when writing letters to my best friend.
