I dreamed that John McWhorter corrected my grammar. It was amazing.

I’ve absolutely dreamed about meeting McWhorter at a cocktail party and kibitzing about musical theater.

Last night, I had a fabulous dream about befriending Kmele and Tracy Foster of The Fifth Column universe. I gave them my childhood play-oven and fridge. We bonded over our young children. Ha!

I once dreamt that John McWhorter cuddled me. He wore a cream colored cable knit sweater.

A few nights ago I had a dream my husband I were invited to the house of Ben Shapiro. I don't think he's considered in the "Heterodox Space" and frankly he never showed up on my list of people I'd love to have dinner with, but thank you subconscious. But in my dream I remember thinking it was a good time with him and my complete fabrication of his wife. I think he even got drunk and we were all laughing. Then he offered for us to stay the night, and off the roads, because of all the wine we drank.

That's when we realized we were in our old house---

And Then - That's when we realized we were not in our old house, but in my parents house---

That's when we all started crying and I mean BALLING big fat tears because it was so sad that I had sold my family house after they died.

TMI there, but aren't all peeks into our dream brain? It cracks me up now since Ben Shapiro has to be the lease emotional person to ever have a media outlet.

I also feel jealous of people remembering their dreams. Mine are usually so weird that I cannot even word them when I try. People are not who they are and places are not where they should. The only remnants of dreams I usually have are strong and disturbing emotions, often strong enough to ruin my day.

Weird coincidence. Just last night I had a dream about Matt Taibbi. I’d been listening to his podcast the day before. I went to a party at his house. I thought to ask him how he was able to write so colorfully. Sadly, I didn’t get an answer.

This is interesting and, to me, surprising. I don't recall ever having a dream about a celebrity. The people in my dreams are either family members or, more often, no one I know, or even no other persons at all.

This reminded me of a question in an EconTalk episode a few months ago, which was, do you dream in the color? Both the interviewer and guest were unsure. I've thought about this since whenever I wake up recalling a dream. My answer so far, is ... maybe.

I definitely dreamed Meghan Daum and I, like, went on vacation together once. I only remember this happened because I told my wife about it as soon as I woke up. I can’t for the life of me remember whether the vacation went well!

Beyonce is a heterodox figure, right?

What about Rihanna? Christina Hendricks? Sofia Vergara?

Sorry for being jokey, Meghan, but you lobbed the softball right over the plate and begged me to hit it.

I feel left out, as my dreams are not on the ball and so far no dreams about heterodox figures. In the 90s and 00s I used to dream that I was friends with Madonna and would occasionally see her at parties (in my dreams), and in later dreams would tell myself, "Wait, I do know Madonna, how could I have forgotten?"

I don't know why, but this new series reminds me of the time Jack, Chrissy, & Janet destroyed a pillow and Chrissy cheered, "Yay! We killed the money!"

And the shrink says, "You people are CRAZY!!! But you're cured!"

This was a few days ago and the memory is gone, but I know I was in a situation with Heather Heying and Bret Weinstein, my absolute favourite online people. I tune in live every week and would do so just to see the two of them interact.

I've had a handful of Sam Harris dreams over the years. I'm not sure why.

I don't know if this counts, but a few nights ago I dreamed that I met Tim Dillon and we became fast friends. We were both wedding guests at a tropical resort, and spent the weekend chatting and hanging out together. In my dream, he was in his 50's, like me. When we parted we made plans to get together regularly.

I've only recently discovered The Pig, and often fall asleep listening to his podcast on Youtube.
