I don’t mind the modest annual fee if it helps you keep the lights on. I also like being part of the Meghan Daum fan base and having my comments occasionally responded to.
I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say WE really appreciate all the work you put into this. The Unspeakable and A Special Place in Hell are two of the best podcasts out there.
As an early follower of you Meghan and both a subscriber to your pod and a believer in NAF I'm happy that you see the value in people having access to your podcast episodes. For entirely selfish reasons I'd like it if there was more separation between subscribers and free, maybe just 2 episodes for the public side (PSA podcasts) per month with an additional 2 (or sometimes 3) for the subscribers. This would save you some time (4 episodes/month rather than your projected 6) and maybe leave some room to have the occasional subscriber-only episode run long (2+ hours) if the guest and conversation is worth it.
Interesting. One thing to consider is that it's harder to paywall an interview show than just a regular chat show with two or more hosts. That's because the value is in the guests and it's not really fair to book a guest only to keep them behind a paywall.
Interesting point. I hadn't thought about it from the guest's point of view and their perception of the audience-reach. Thanks for all the hard work you do to bring us interesting conversations.

Thank you, Derek. That means a lot.

Thank you, Timothy.
