Great guest and conversation! I love Rob’s rancor about all the “plus” streaming services. Stupidtown!

Agree and I'm feeling much the same these days. I tend to move from one streaming service to the next, as I search and consume the shows I find interesting. And I find I don't have much patience for shows that take too long to develop or seem like something I've already seen more than once. I'm now actively making sure I'm not subscribed to any streaming that I'm not actually watching. I used to read a lot of books, back in the day; maybe that changed somewhat back in the Netflix DVD heyday in the mid-2000s; now I'm thinking it's time to drop the streaming and go back to books.

This was a very enjoyable interview, Rob is affable, honest and direct. I was heartened to learn that I'm not the only one who finds it hard to locate the shows I'm looking for. Regarding his point that Suits is the number one show on Netflix, while his point that it is a rerun is true, surely its popularity is due to the presence of Meghan Markle in the cast. Presumably a Netflix made series with MM in it would also score high.

If I recall correctly, Suits was only mildly popular even at its peak. There's no other plausible explanation for the current Netflix ratings aside from the Markle factor.
